Good News and Bad News it all depends on how much you eat!

Can you even believe that Thanksgiving Day is next week!? Wow, this year has passed quickly. There are so many of our favorite comfort foods we look forward to all year on Turkey Day. Did you know that Turkey can affect your libido? It all depends on how much you eat.

Good news, a small amount of turkey is good for your libido. Bad news is that a second or third serving of turkey can definitely put a damper on your libido and lower your chances of having energy in the bedroom.

Turkey can be a great sexual enhancement and get you a better sex drive. Turkey contains many healthy vitamins and minerals that can give you a boost in the bedroom. One mineral is zinc which stimulates blood flow and is needed for our all around body to function, including a libido enhancer. It also contains complex B vitamins including B12 as well as selenium, B vitamins are beneficial to your libido because they regulate your estrogen, testosterone, serotonin, and dopamine levels. According to the National Institute of Health, selenium is a necessary nutrient for regulating your reproductive organs

Some more advantages of this Thanksgiving delight is that it also improves your norepinephrine production. Norepinephrine is a hormone which produces more adrenaline. Adrenaline is necessary for a healthy sex drive because it raises your heart rate, keeps you awake, and focused during sex

We hear all the time that the tryptophan in the turkey puts us to sleep, but there is a good source of tryptophan, which supports the production of serotonin. Since serotonin is our most important feel good hormones it is an important hormone for enjoying sex.

So what could be bad about eating turkey? Well it’s the over eating of this bird is what lowers your libido. TOO MUCH tryptophan can produce too much serotonin which will make you too relaxed and ready to fall asleep before you get any Thanksgiving action. It also has a high amount of protein and saturated fat in it and too much of either can lower your libido. Saturated fat can clog your arteries and slow blood flow to the genitals.

So enjoy the meal but not to your heart's content. Eat all your favorite Holiday food but in moderation. And make Libido Drops for men and women part of your holiday fun.
